((I really cannot understand how IMP can reject someone who is able to storm a space station full of armed outlaws single handed and kill everyone inside.  Ophelie would be the pride of any special forces in Insilico ... ))

That must be the smallest space station in history.

Small space stations would exist, literally manned by one or two people even. I don't know if she meant to express that she took the whole space station itself or not. Although clearly was an outlaw criminal (singular tense). If a space station has a small number of people like 5-10 or such, it's still not unrealistic for one person kill that many people. Now, clearly if the space station was the size of the death star or something with thousands upon thousands of people...

(( Did Ophelie just massacre people because she thought a dead rat was a dead cat? ))

killing people is not a viable indication whether you are fit for public service. Also unless she killed like 20 active players in meter during some kind of event I doubt all the dice rolls in the world would convince anyone that you are friends are bad ass. The special operations group (SOG) on mars is invitation only and I doubt she would be the pride of that in any sense. Also I may not be in touch with the rp with ophelie but it seems to me that a pregnant woman wouldn't be cut out for combat service let alone RP in general since that really is a meta game manuever since well birth is regulated in our lore.

((This whole thread is getting weirder and more confusing.. so I'm only going to ask one question in the midst of this crazy.))

1. Been here over three years and have read a hell of a lot of postings and done dumpster diving for lore many times. Where is it written out with "clarity" that Birth is Regulated in the lore? Or most specifically within the confines of InSilico (The City itself) and the city rules/regulations?

scroll down to where it's headed 'Government' and it says the following:

Government

The city is governed by an Artificial Intelligence operating out of one of Gemini's server clusters ensconced within their orbital data fortress. Many aspects of daily life are under near complete control of the AIs: politics, media, literature, news, entertainment, birth control, and others.

See, Nyusha; It is all there in the fine print, confirming my conviction that Insilico was invented by lawyers. :-)
