GNN: UBC Announces Opening of First Ceres Outpost

To mark the finalization of all outstanding development contracts, and thus the conclusion of Phase 1 planning for Operation Summer Dawn, the Universal Banking Corporation has officially announced the opening of Mansi Station; the first manned outpost on the dwarf planet Ceres...

Mansi Station is a joint venture between the Universal Banking Corporation, Gemini Cybernetics' Planetary Division, and Tokuma Heavy Industries. Together with the soon-to-be completed Whitten Orbital Station, the outpost will serve as the main base of operations for the Mars Terraforming Initiative's 23 year plan to relocate Ceres to its new home in orbit around the Red Planet.

In the wake of the controversy that erupted after the announcement of Operation Summer Dawn, the UBC has mandated that the exact location of Mansi Station will remain classified, and that only the authorized employees of corporate contract holders will be permitted access to Ceres' airspace.

Right, it's been a few months. Time to ask the folks at 4chan if they've gotten the Ceres coordinates and access codes yet. Better make sure my system is up to date with it's anti-DDOS software.

*shakes his head at the poor literary skills of the GNN "journalist" who prepared this piece.  Clearly they did not know the rule that the phrases - "a joint venture between";  "Universal Banking Corporation"; "Gemini Cybernetics"  regardless of Division and "Tokuma Heavy Industries" should never be used in the same sentence.

Then the hint of a smile appeared as he realized the words "co-operative"; "equal" or "mutually beneficial" had not been used and he reflected perhaps the GNN journalist who prepared the piece possessed far better literary skills than first impressions indicated*

Meanwhile, on Ceres, deep underground, a shipping container's door creaks open. An orange space suit steps out gingerly. The man's stomach growls loudly in the quietness. He takes his helmet off. His matted, dirty blond braids fall to his shoulders. His breath hangs in the air in front of his face. "Where's everybody at?"

Take a look, folks. Compare the picture above with the one at this link

Coincidence much? (Yes, definitely. I've been anxiously awaiting this mission, if only to see how off base we really were in the speculation.)
